Vision: To establish and maintain a positive image of Kinistin Saulteaux Nation as a progressive, prosperous, and successful community.

Mission: To develop and implement an effective legislative, policy and program framework that will assist the Kinistin Saulteaux Nation in promoting full employment, business development, sustainable resource management, and effective human resource management.

Kinistin has identified a need to develop initiatives that will foster a vibrant, and progressive future for all membership.

Goals

1. To raise the awareness of Kinistin Saulteaux Nation businesses, services and products by developing and implementing marketing and public relations strategies in order to develop networks and partnerships, both regionally and internationally.

2. To identify business opportunities based on a thorough analysis of natural and human resources, existing businesses and potential business. This will require a review of all studies and proposals completed in the last 10 years, a review of existing businesses and an identification of potential businesses.

3. To work with current Kinistin Saulteaux Nation businesses to identify human resource needs and to implement training programs based on those needs.

4. To ensure there is technical support for the Economic Development Committee by identifying and procuring funding to hire a full-time economic development officer for the 2004-2005 fiscal year.

5. To develop a Policy and Procedures Manual (link to “Kinistin Economic Development Fund.pdf”) for the Economic Development Committee and update the Equity Fund Manual.

Tent Rentals

Kinistin Saulteaux Nation has tents available for Rental for all your outdoor activities this summer, from Treaty Days to Community functions.

Easy to setup, these tents are an efficient alternative to booking meeting rooms or large facilities.

Tents can be extended for larger requirements.

Rates start from $250.00 for the first day, plus $50.00 for additional dates.

Kinistin Bison Corporation

Call us for your bison product needs. Our bison meat is organically grown and is raised locally in a pesticide and fertilizer free pasture. Bison meat is lean and offers superb nutritional value. It is a healthy alternative to beef, chicken, and pork. Many recipes are available for Bison and because it is lean, require minimal preparations for cooking.
