Starting in Grade 9, students from Kinistin are transported to attend high school in Tisdale, Saskatchewan at Tisdale Middle & Secondary School (TMSS). TMSS offers a wide-variety of course selection for the students to chose from at a senior-high level. This not only let’s the students chose what classes they are interested in but sets them up for future success as they may go on to pursue post-secondary.

Students also have the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular activities such as volleyball, basketball, badminton, curling or cross-country running club.

The Grad Mentor, which is hired from Kinistin works out of TMSS to ensure the students are well supported in their academics, on track to graduate and feel welcome & safe as they transition to a new environment outside of Kinistin. This can be a hard transition for many students, but knowing you have the support & guidance in place to help you excel in school is reassuring.
